CLK.AM is a privacy-first site intelligence platform combining two products: Analytics (cookie-free web analytics with Web Vitals, session replay, funnels, and A/B testing) and Links (a link shortener with click enrichment — network type, ASN, geo confidence per click). Both products work independently or together, where link clicks automatically feed your analytics events.

No. CLK.AM Analytics does not set any cookies and does not collect personally identifying information. Our tracking is based on daily-rotating hashes that cannot identify individuals across sessions or days. This follows CNIL deliberation n°2023-091 on audience measurement tools exempt from consent. You still need a privacy policy, but no cookie banner for CLK.AM.

We compute a daily hash: SHA-256(site_id + visitor_ip + date + daily_salt). The hash changes every day (no cross-day tracking), the salt rotates and is never persisted, and the raw IP is discarded after hashing. The hash itself is not stored — only the aggregate count. This approach is consistent with EDPB Opinion 05/2019 on pseudonymization.

The CLK.AM Analytics core is available under AGPL-3.0 on GitHub. You can self-host it on your own Cloudflare account. The SDK is Apache-2.0 and the IP Tool is MIT. Enterprise features (SSO, SCIM, audit log) are proprietary and cloud-only.

For Analytics: page URL (path only, no PII in query strings), referrer domain, UTM parameters, country (derived from IP at edge, then IP is discarded), device type, browser, OS (from User-Agent as category, not raw), and custom events you define. We never store IP addresses, cookies, cross-site identifiers, or keystrokes. For Links: click timestamp, country, device type, referrer domain, network type, ASN, and geo confidence score. Never the IP address, never the destination browsing behavior.

Subscribe to both Analytics and Links and your data joins automatically. Every link click created via CLK.AM Links becomes an analytics event in CLK.AM Analytics. UTM parameters from your links propagate into campaign attribution. You get the first month free on your second product when you subscribe to both.

When someone clicks a CLK.AM short link, before the redirect happens (in under 10ms), we capture: network type (residential, datacenter, mobile, VPN), ASN (the AS number and ISP name), geo confidence score (0–1, how certain we are of the country), referrer domain, country, and device type. This helps you know if your campaign is reaching real users or bots, and which ISPs your audience uses.

Yes. Analytics free tier: 1 site, 10,000 events/month, 30-day data retention. Links free tier: 25 permanent links per month (links never expire), clk.am domain, basic click tracking with network type. No credit card required. Free accounts inactive for 12 months may be deleted with 30 days notice.

All data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite-compatible) and Cloudflare KV. Cloudflare maintains data centers globally; data may be processed at any edge location. All data in transit is TLS 1.2+ encrypted; all data at rest is encrypted at the Cloudflare D1 layer. Cloudflare maintains Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
