Built by one person,
for a real problem.
Not a team of 50. Not VC-backed. Just a founder who got tired of the status quo.
Why I built CLK.AM
I was running several projects and paying for five different tools — analytics, link shortening, uptime, A/B testing, a privacy compliance widget. Five dashboards. Five monthly bills. Zero connection between them. And at the end of the month, I was still sending every visitor's data to third parties I didn't fully control.
I've spent 10+ years working on edge computing, cloud infrastructure, and privacy engineering — building systems where latency is measured in milliseconds and data residency actually matters. When I looked at the existing analytics market, I didn't see a tool built with those constraints in mind. I saw tools built to accumulate data, not protect it.
CLK.AM is what I wanted to exist: a platform where your site intelligence stays yours — analytics, links, and Web Vitals, all connected, all cookie-free.
What I care about
No cookies, no consent banners. CLK.AM Analytics is exempt from cookie consent under CNIL deliberation n°2023-091. That's not a workaround — it's the architecture. Daily-rotating hashes, no cross-day tracking, no raw IP storage.
Open core. The analytics engine is AGPL-3.0 on GitHub. You can read the code, self-host it, audit what it does. Enterprise features are proprietary and cloud-only — that's the business model, and I'm transparent about it.
No VC, no exit strategy that sells your data. CLK.AM is bootstrapped. There's no investor pressure to monetize attention or harvest behavioral profiles. The product lives or dies by whether customers find it useful.
